  Once our temperatures warm up to at least 40° and we have a rainy night, many of our native amphibians make an annual migration back to their vernal pools to breed. Wood frogs, Spring Peepers, Jefferson Salamanders and the Spotted Salamander pictured above are some of our early moving native amphibians.
