Boston Heights Joins NOPEC Electric Aggregation Program

Boston Heights has joined NOPEC’s electric aggregation program, offering exclusive electric supply rates to our residents and small business owners. Enrollment letters have begun arriving in the mail for eligible residents and small businesses, providing information about the aggregation program and options available to you.

If you want to enroll in NOPEC’s Standard Program Price, you don’t need to take any action when you receive your enrollment letter. You will automatically be enrolled. Additional information and rate options including fixed term and monthly variable pricing can be viewed online at nopec.org/electric or by calling NOPEC’s 24/7 Customer Care Center at 1-855-667-3201. If you don’t want to enroll in the electric aggregation, opt out instructions are included in your enrollment letter.

RUBBISH SERVICE

Rubbish service is not provided by the Village but available through Kimble Recycling & Waste Disposal directly between the hauler and the residents. The Village contracts with the hauler in order to ensure the lowest possible prices for this service. In 2012, the Village began to provide leaf pickup services during the fall. Service Department employees were able to pick up leaves in addition to the branch chipping service already provided by the Village.

** PLEASE NOTE: Containers and plastic bags shall be placed outside the building after sunset of the day preceding the collection and before 8:00 AM of the day of collection. The empty container shall be removed from the tree lawn no later than midnight of the day of collection.
